Hiring students is not an easy task, especially in times of financial instability where graduates, including some of the best institutions, have no guarantee of getting a good job. But what’s attracting youth these days the most? TryWork marketing team suggesting several winning strategies to decrease the marketing cost of an enrollment

MARKETING FOR UNIVERSITIES

Video marketing
Online platforms and webinar marketing, either through a personal website or sites like Eventbrite, edX, or Coursera. In this way, you will give a valuable gift to the candidate, promote your staff, and that will build relatedness and trust on encouraging course participants to consider the study;

Landing pages
Create a landing page for any particular course or department (e.g., Business communication, Department of Economics). Describe all the outstanding features and attach an online registration form, from which you will find information about your potential students;

Establish relationships
Establish automized connections with websites whose audience includes students seeking information about job opportunities or institutions. The network will unlock the potential for rank-based websites, neighborhood forums, job centers, or low or college websites. Introduce yourself to potential readers in charitable notes or newsletters, organize an offline or online event (such as a webinar) where applicants have the opportunity to ask questions;

Content marketing.
Publish articles in online or published magazines, provide a free newsletter, and keep a regular online vlog or diary on essential topics to readers and what is happening in the area. You can also hold online and offline meetings, where alumni or acquaintances will share their experiences and demonstrate through their experiments that education is a valuable asset;

Partnership activities.
Organize open days, become a partner company, establish scholarship or apprenticeship agreements, and use offline and other forms of advertising.

TryWork is an alternative to an internship that allows students to “subscribe” for a job. For Universities, TryWork builds an opportunity for their students to provide 1,5 years of work experience upon graduation when signing up for the complete program. Upon successful completion, students receive referral letters based on their performance in the company that held the internship program. Students will create a case file with all completed assignments and self-analysis throughout the course to monitor progression, level of competency, and understanding personal SWOT.

Building University campus community

Access to resources
Some of the top campuses have 24/7 libraries to (guarantee) for early and late rise students to catch their relaxing time to study. More and more libraries are becoming more of a co-working space, (not) just a place to borrow the materials. Creative, thoughtful design for (of the)learning space will unfold the full potential of the most hardworking students.

Gym and sport facilities
Engage your audience in a language that is simple and easy to understand. Most importantly, ensure that what you’re sharing on social media is supported by accurate data and research.

Mini city
Mobility drives the world these days, and everyone wants to have reliable and comfortable ways to commute. Bringing micro-mobility solutions will tackle two points from the list to encourage students for active life and support sustainable initiatives.

Upskill and mentorship
Allowing students to pitch ideas and accomplish projects is the most significant way to inspire and support them to gain entrepreneurial skills.

TryWork programs provide similar to an internship on-job experience allowing one to work only 2 hours per day without leaving their studies and at the same time getting continuous support from top mentors of the industry.
